This modern, open-plan kitchen is organised around a large island that defines the space and creates a clear connection between the cooking and dining areas. A neutral base is balanced with warmer, earthy tones, adding contrast and depth while keeping the overall design restrained.
Glazed wall units and layered lighting introduce subtle texture, giving the kitchen a more considered, architectural feel without detracting from its simplicity.
the design
Light-toned, handleless cabinetry forms a clean, understated backdrop, contrasted by darker finishes on the island to give the layout definition. Glazed wall units add subtle texture, while integrated appliances keep the overall look streamlined. A Quooker boiling water tap is paired with a Blanco undermount sink along the main run, supporting everyday practicality, while smart storage solutions within the island maximise usability without compromising the kitchen’s clean lines. Oversized glass pendant lights provide a strong visual focal point, with warm, earthy tones and discreet ambient lighting used in the dining area to add depth and balance to the space.
